
The staff Christmas event this year took us all back to school, cookery school.
A morning learning how to make dough for biscotti, bread and pizza bases was a welcome change to the usual frantic activity leading up to the Christmas holiday. Tender documents to be issued, CIF bids to be submitted, site inspections, snag lists, and reports all to be completed.
Yes we delivered on our commitments but still managed to learn how to make fresh pasta thanks to the great coaching at Julia’s Kitchen in Parkstone. Eating the fruits of our labours and heading off to some local hostelries afterwards was quite good fun too.
