Work Experience
We welcome enquiries from school age attendees looking to see if a career in building services might be for them. We annually provide a place for up to two weeks for interested candidates.
We have devised a well-structured design project that involves some fundamental engineering principles that allow candidates to design the heating, lighting and ventilation services for a building using manual and computer aided design and drawing their design solutions. Shadowing engineers on live jobs with attendances at meetings and site visits to demonstrate what a typical day in and out of the office comprises is also included in these taster sessions.
