Worldwise were initially engaged to undertake utility load assessments for gas, water and power to new training grounds for AFCB.
The facility will comprise 10 full size pitches, 3 junior pitches, an indoor artificial playing surface and state-of-the-art medical, fitness, sports science and rehabilitation facilities, administrative space and a press conference theatre on a 57 acre site at Canford Magna.
The first team, development squad, academy and pre-academy training operations will all be undertaken from the new central location.
We have subsequently been asked to undertake the role of Employers Representative to “sanity check” contractor’s design proposals, technical submittals and to monitor the quality of the mechanical and electrical services installations on the overall site and within the 4,650m2 main building.
Construction of the Dome indoor pitch and the outside artificial pitch alongside temporary academy offices was well underway in summer 2023.
