
We started our on-site surveys of the mechanical and electrical services installations at the San Remo Tower block of 183 flats in Bournemouth.
Whilst much of the main plant items have been replaced since the building was erected in 1936 most of the distribution services remain as the original. With a view to providing a 20 year plan for expenditure on the systems to address regulatory non-compliance, maintenance and end of life replacement we shall be providing the management agents with a report that will be fully priced to enable proper planning and budgeting to take place rather than reactive maintenance and damage limitation when pipes burst.
