Phases 1 & 2 Pipework Replacement for Bournemouth School for Girls.

Worldwise initially carried out an inspection of the domestic water and heating pipework systems throughout the entire site and produced a report on its condition followed by a suggested planned sequence of work to replace the systems with budget costs. We assisted the school with the CIF application for funding. When funding became available the school engaged us to undertake detailed design and contract management of the first two of four suggested phases. The phases represented reasonable amounts of work that could be achieved within a summer holiday period.

Replacement of all heating and domestic hot and cold water services distribution pipework in 1960 built grammar school for 1,100 pupils. These two phases account for approx. 1/3 of distribution plus main HWS plant.

We managed the entire contract as well as the technical mechanical and electrical elements, replacement of suspended ceilings, groundworks, decoration and making good.
