A new build 430m2 multi-use community centre providing office accommodation for the local parish council, a meeting room, 30 place nursery, kitchen, café, 120 seat multi-purpose hall, toilets and designed for the possible future addition of changing rooms with showers to serve adjacent sports fields.
Worldwise prepared sketch scheme designs and Performance Specifications along with SBEM thermal modelling at an early stage to increase cost certainty. Liaison with the utility provider serving the adjacent new housing estate for gas, water, electrical and communications supplies to the building and the integration of PV and natural ventilation strategies were included.
Reviews of Contractor’s Proposals and site inspections to monitor quality were also undertaken.
