Provision of new UK Headquarters building with production facilities comprising: Test Rig – 685m2, Factory – 2,210m2, Offices – 3,760m2.
Worldwise were engaged by Midas to provide independent advice on the design and installation quality being provided by their M&E sub-contractors including a complete review of specifications, drawings, and a Clerk of Works service embracing snagging for the infrastructure and all systems, including a sprinkler installation.
Detailed options appraisals with whole life cycle cost benefit analysis for various heating, cooling, ventilation strategies to the factory building were also undertaken at the request of Cobham Plc.
Following completion of the main project Cobham Plc instructed Worldwise to undertake a feasibility study on the provision renewable energy options for the site. Options advanced were a wind turbine and 250 kWp PV installation.
