Extensions & Alterations to Muscliff School, Phases 1- 4. Phased works with break in contract for one school year.
Phases 1-3: Remodelling existing areas to effect greater flexibility of use for evening lettings and after-school clubs. New build 541m2 extension of 4 classrooms and small hall with infrastructure provided for future (phase 4) 5-classroom extension. Provision of 5.17kWp PV system and installation of 12 Monodraught Windcatcher units to provide improved ventilation of existing first floor classrooms to relieve summertime overheating problems. These were provided as part of the Consequential Improvements needed for Building Regulation compliance.
Phase 4 : 468m2 5-Classroom extension built on first floor level above the Phase 3 building with all M&E services extended from infrastructure installed during the Phase 3 contract. Re-modelling and extension to reception and administration areas. Provision of two Monodraught Sola Boost Windcatcher units to ventilate upper level classrooms. All weather external play area also provided under this contract.
