Initially engaged to undertake a feasibility study on replacing the all electric infra red heating system for this 275m2 Grade 2 Listed church a report was produced that considered all viable options with the pros and cons of each tailored around the site specific usage profile.
Budget costs were provided for the viable options and DAC’s submissions made and a meeting attended with them and their advisors as part of the re-ordering package of works. Potential energy saving measures were also discussed.
Worldwise’s brief was extended to undertake a detailed design of the preferred heating option plus a new lighting scheme (computer simulated options were generated to provide the client with a good of idea of the eventual visual impact of the scheme) DALI control and scene setting were required, AV scheme complete with large LED monitors, a sound and video control desk, CCTV, radio microphones and an audio induction loop.
Value engineering was required to reduce the lighting scheme costs but dimming remained with control from the main mixing desk.
