This was an interesting project involving the conversion of a 420m2 Victorian building that had last been used as a Day Centre into a Special Needs School for pupils aged 16+.
It comprised a mock flat set up to recreate real life living accommodation that pupils could realistically anticipate living in when they leave school. The remainder of the building had two large classrooms, two quite rooms, a deep chill room, relaxation space, commercial training kitchen and dining room.
