Viewpoint 7 comprises two blocks of flats that are linked together by a common basement car park built in 1974. There are total of 64 flats, all but one of which are 2-bed units. Both blocks are 7 storeys high plus rooftop cold water storage tank rooms.

Worldwise were initially engaged to undertake a condition survey and report on the mechanical extract ventilation from the flats and the domestic water services pipework distribution systems. They provided budget costs for the suggested replacement of central roof-mounted extract fans, ductwork riser cleaning and replacement of the domestic water services pipework risers and cold water storage tanks.

Worldwise were subsequently engaged to prepare detailed designs for the execution of the necessary work outlined in the report. They also took on responsibility for Contract Administrator, Quantity surveyor and Principal Designer duties and worked closed with the management committee to develop proposals that would be safe to undertake and cause minimal disruption to residents.
