A new 42 bed, 2,340m2 extension to an existing 16 bed care home with a unique boutique style decor and its own pub as well as kitchen dining room, lounge and ancillary spaces.
Executed as a Design and Build project we undertook SBEM modelling calculations and utility supply load assessments early on to establish any risk to the client. We then prepared outline design solutions, performance specifications and scheme drawings for contractor development.
Our role extended to review of Contractor Proposals, monitoring the quality of installations and checking of record documents and commissioning results.
