The building was originally constructed in 1970. It was upgraded in 1990 and our involvement came with the 2019 complete refurbishment.
It comprises 497m2 day centre designed primary for people living with Dementia in the local community. It has a lounge and activity kitchen, a smaller lounge, quiet room, two dining rooms, toilets, showers and commercial kitchen as well as admin and staff welfare facilities. Worldwise designed all of the mechanical and electrical services in the building including safety systems, access control systems, staff call, kitchen ventilation, gas, water, heating, lighting, power and alarms.
