Services provision in the office type accommodation included LPHW heating coupled with radiators and fan coil units, 250 kW chilled water cooling plant, mechanical ventilation with thermal wheel heat recovery, domestic water and localised fume extract from dark rooms and various print process areas. The main production area employs a 15.5 m3/s displacement ventilation which also provides heating from gas-fired air handling unit, smoke ventilation, centralised compressed air and vacuum cascade systems, and waste paper extraction. Air handling unit incorporates cross plate heat exchanger treated to protect it from airborne contaminants / solvents and bypass facility.
